May 5-11 is Chicago Water Week. We’re exploring three issues related to our work from a Chicago perspective. These issues–lead service line replacement, conservation of aquatic ecosystems, and microplastics in our water–may seem distant and unrelated. But, that couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s important to recognize that water, like air, is one of the few natural phenomena that connects all of us from a molecular level to a geographic level. That’s why our team is on the ground across Chicagoland building power with our affiliates and water advocates to ensure that Chicago is an environmental leader that all can be proud to live in.
