Hannah Dembosky joined the Illinois Environmental Council in October 2024 as the Operations and Events Associate. She manages the operations of the Chicago office, with an emphasis on improving office sustainability. She also manages all of IEC’s public events programming, ensuring that Illinois enviros are informed and engaged. Her goal is to bring to life the IEC team’s visions for both events and the office.
Prior to working at the IEC, Hannah was the STEM Co-op Manager at Project Exploration, a STEM education nonprofit focused on advancing opportunities for underserved Chicago youth. Hannah graduated from Northwestern University in 2023 with Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science and Sociology.
Hannah loves spending time with her two cats and gecko, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and managing the environmental community group she founded, Bridgeport Environmentalists.
