Civics for Environmentalists

This workshop covers the rules and processes outlined by the Illinois constitution for lawmaking; the difference between a statute, rule and policy; drafting legislation 101; the calendar and schedule; the committee process and several other legislative topics. This workshop is applicable to organizations outside the environmental community as well.
