Angie Mizeur joined the Illinois Environmental Council (IEC) in the summer of 2024 as the Director of Finance and Operations. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the organization’s day-to-day operations and providing strategic financial guidance to help drive IEC’s growth and sustainability.

A native of Springfield, Angie grew up immersed in her family’s restaurant business, which ha been an integral part of the local community since the 1940s. This background has inspired her passion for local food and sustainable living, values she actively advocates for both personally and professionally.

Outside of work, Angie enjoys supporting her two sons at their local hockey games and is an active member of the Springfield Youth Hockey Association Board of Directors. During the summer, she is a dedicated volunteer and supporter of the Levitt AMP Springfield Music Series which partners with changemakers and non-profits across the country to activate underused outdoor spaces through the power of free, live music.
