Jaime Gutshall joined the Illinois Environmental Council as the Development Director in the Spring of 2022, where she oversees all development and donor activities. Jaime is passionate about making sure all donors feel valued and that IEC staff have the funds needed to carry out their impactful work. During her time at IEC, Jaime has expanded the development team, grown the annual Environmental Leadership Dinner to record attendance, and launched a new major giving initiative. She also serves on the Racial Justice and Equity working group for the Conservation Voters Movement to help shape and facilitate adoption of anti-racist fundraising best practices.
Prior to joining IEC, Jaime served as the Manager of Feeding Tomorrow, the foundation of the Institute of Food Technologists, and has also worked in a variety of roles at PAWS Chicago. She has worked in nonprofit organizations for over a decade and has a true passion for helping nonprofits make the world a better place.
Jaime earned her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from North Central College and her Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from DePaul University. When not hard at work, Jaime enjoys spending time with her rescued dog Leo and rescued rabbit Carl Fredricksbun, enjoying the outdoors with her partner Marty, and cooking.
