I won’t be taking a bus and will either be arriving the night before or on Wednesday (Earth Day).

I’d like to take one of the buses on Earth Day to get to Springfield.  There will be buses from Waukegan, Chicago, Chicago South Side, South Suburbs, Naperville, River Forest, Peoria, and Champaign. We are requesting a $20 donation for those taking a bus leaving from the Chicago area and a $10 donation for those leaving from Peoria or Champaign. Contact Matt Steffen at msteffen@ilenviro to inquire about a free ticket if you cannot donate at this time.

I am from a student environmental group in a location where there is no bus available. Scholarships are provided by the IEC Young Professionals Board.

If you can’t make this event, check out some other Earth Day events by checking out IEC’s partner, the Earth Day Network.Earth Day Network 2015 logo

Learn More About Climate Change

The U.S. EPA’s website on climate change was once a great resource for basic scientific information on the topic and we look forward to the day that it is again. Until then, the City of Chicago is making sure its citizens have access to research and information.

One of the simplest ways to donate to the IEC is by contributing through EarthShare in your workplace charity campaign .
