2023 Environmental Lobby day
2023 Environmental Lobby Day
What is Lobby Day?
For decades now, IEC’s Lobby Day has connected enviros from across the state with their elected representatives in the General Assembly to effectively advocate for Illinois’ people and environment. During Lobby Day, enviros from across the state gather in Springfield to meet with their legislators and advocate for the environmental issues that matter to them most.
- When: April 19, 2023
- Where: Illinois State Capitol Building, Springfield, IL
- Cost: Free!
- Arrival: 10-11 AM, based on where you’re leaving from

A more detailed schedule will be provided to participants following registration.
We will be rallying in front of the Lincoln statue with legislators and speakers on the important bills we’ll be supporting during the day. You are highly encouraged to bring environmental and climate-themed rally signs for this part of the day’s event! You can store them at our check-in table in the capitol until it’s time for the rally.
Who is Lobby Day for?
Designed for those new to the process and returning advocates alike, we’ll guide participants through every step of the process. You’ll be paired up with seasoned environmental advocates who will support you and your neighbors through these conversations.
